NetEvidence has taken part in IT’s premier sailing event for the last 5 years in partnership with Equinix – to not be part of the Silicon Cup was never an option. Equinix’s sponsorship of this years Silicon Cup moved the standard for this event to a new level. Much organising, chasing and hoping for good weather saw 2 yachts, ‘Excel’ & ‘Gilly B’, pull into Cowes on September 17th proudly bearing the NetEvidence livery.

Two sunny days, many sails, many smiles and relationships both made & strengthened. The start line of the yacht races - the tension, expectation, sights & sounds will remain with everyone for many years.

NetEvidence were blessed with great guests & crew across both yachts and we all saw the effect of teamwork from those with some knowledge of sailing to those crewing for the first time.

Hanging over the side of a yacht, stomach aching for what seems like hours, to eek out the last bit of speed as the finish line looms is a lasting impression for us all. We pulled together across the races and were eventually successful in bringing home a 1st place in class 1. NetEvidence are hugely proud of the success.
